  1. Shitty news: the demo EXPIRES July 12th, so it will no longer play after then. Also, it is ONLY the classic stage. So the stage with the most meat (modern) will not be playable. Pretty disappointing.

Is this for the European PSN only?

Barry, I only wanted to try out the classic stage. I want to feel the physics and stuff. I pretty much know what modern Sonic will play like. We have been playing it for the last decade.

As fun as modern sonic looks. This is still a good thing! 😛 I'm sure we will get a modern sonic demo sometime in the future.

got my EU PSN account ready.

Only Classic Sonic? Stupid decision. People are going to think this is just another 2D Sonic game, and Modern Sonic's section's incredibly fun. Classic Sonic's stage is fun and everything but it's pretty much just all 3 acts of Green Hill Zone merged together. Modern Sonic's Green Hill Zone is the real star of the demo.

Why would they release only half the demo? Ugh, Sega……

    lol not really….

This demo is but a tease, and probably just after the demo time expires they'll ask for a little feedback in the usual way.

I wouldn't be too surprised to see the modern gameplay demo to fly in shortly after the classic one expires.
