The turn around from the original Japanese release in December 2017 to the Western release of Yakuza Kiwami 2 in August 2018 will make it the quickest turn around in the franchise’s history since the original release. Check out the trailer above and get ready to relive one of the great rivalries of the series, Kazuma Kiryu vs Ryuji Goda. Any idea what the sales and general reception of Yakuza has been in the west, anyone?
I know Yakuza 0 was the most successful so far when it arrived last year, managing to make the top ten at least, breifly placing in at 8th.
Marvellous all around, knew it was only a matter of time.
Well, i don’t know much in details but Sega said that the only reason Kiwami 2 happened, was because of surprisingly well sells of both 0 and Kiwami.
