SEGA’s Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud has launched on the Nintendo Switch. For those not in the know, this version of the game is a ‘cloud-based’ version of the PC, that is streamed onto your Nintendo Switch via ‘The cloud’.

Positives include not having to keep the game updated, since its always streaming the latest version. Obviously the downside is that you will need to be connected to a good internet connection. SEGA launched a huge series of videos to show off the game’s features:

I know how to play on PC and PS4. Are there any walkthroughs or methods that allow you to set up a Japanese account to play this on a western Switch?

It’s easy. All you need to do is create a new account on your switch with the region set to Japan. You can have multiple on your accounts on your Switch, unlike the Vita…
But if you lack a “ac” 5GHz WiFi connection, and only have b/g/n WiFi 2.4GHz, I don’t advice on using this version of the game….
