SEGA unleashes new Shenmue I & II HD Screenshots

As we have been covering on the blog, Shenmue I & II are getting a HD enhanced port to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC worldwide this year. Lots of fans are excited and recently SEGA has uploaded a ton of new screenshots based on this latest re-release on their official site.

We separated the screenshots between Shenmue 1 and Shenmue II screens:

    The redone UI looks nice except the health bar, I can’t be the only one bothered by uneven spacing on the green beads? I wonder if they’re going to keep the Timex branding. Probably not.

    I just wish they remaster/update the voice recordings and sound effects. They’re REALLY compressed and tinny, especially in Shenmue 1, but I have a feeling that’s not happening.

    I would be a lot more excited about this had my Dreamcast copy of the game not come in a week before the announcement. Though I may still buy these if for no other reason than I want Sega to put more Dreamcast games out for digital release. I seem to remember them talking about Skies of Arcadia when they announced this and more people need to play that.
