Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake to Launch This Year

Last  year was the launch of the first Panzer Dragoon: Remake. While the game had issues when it first launched on Nintendo Switch, publisher Forever Entertainment actually went in and fixed the game through updates. Later we got PlayStation, Xbox and PC versions with higher resolutions.

Now the Panzer Dragoon: Remake twitter account has confirmed that Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake is coming this year:

Forever Entertainment is also doing a remake of House of the Dead 1 & 2, but we still haven’t gotten updates on that. I guess one game at a time.

It’s nice to see that we’re getting an expanded library of remakes for these classic SEGA titles. Keep them coming, please. Eventually, I’d like to see proper sequels for these franchises, too. That includes House of the Dead. There’s a deep library to draw from. I love Sonic, but I also want to experience more of SEGA’s catalog.

Seeing how Sega basically hands out the permissions to their IPs to 3rd party no-name studios now it’s not unlikely that we’ll get a new installment
As a fan I can’t justify supporting such games. Many people don’t realize this but they’re not actually Sega games. I see a lot of Sega fans buying multiple copies thinking they’re helping Sega see that people want these games. All they’re doing is making Sega realize it’s cheaper to just hand out their legendary IPs to the studio that’ll make a new game the cheapest and call it done instead of developing them in-house.
I bought SOR4 second hand for 2 dollars and that was it. There’s no Sega branding anywhere on the box or the disc, just a ©Sega in small print since I guess they own the rights to the franchise. Same with the Panzer Dragoon remake, there’s no Sega logo or even mention of Sega ANYWHERE on the Steam page. The only remakes, remasters or sequels I’ll buy is those that Sega (or a company they own, like Atlus) is directly involved in development of. I want to support Sega, not some 3rd party I don’t care about.

It’s better to buy and talk about the in house Orta everywhere.

      We need sequels by SOJ.
