Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi officially announced for digital download

Big surprise, right?

SEGA has just, finally, officially announced that Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi will be coming to the Xbox Live and Playstation Network services later this year. But more then that, apparently these games will be the first in a slew of Dreamcast games that are going to be made available on the service!

The games will be incorporating all new features including HD visuals, leader boards, achievements/trophies, and surround sound. The games will be at E3, so expect coverage from SegaBits and Sonic Stadium!

These games are expected to launch in Europe this autumn.

Rumor: Crazy Taxi coming to XBLA?

Seems that there are a lot of leaks on Microsoft’s PartnerNet and the newest one is a XBLA port of Crazy Taxi. It looks legit and it isn’t really shocking that SEGA would want to bring the game into HD consoles. They did do a PSP port. Not to mention B.D. Joe appearing in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing.

This is not the first leak on XBLA for SEGA, we all recall the Sonic Adventure leak and Sonic 4 leaks. The source even has pictures of Quake Arena leak, that should be fun.

Crazy Taxi appears on IMoG 2010

I’m not quite sure how many of you out there have ever entered a game tournament, but a certain SEGA classic, Crazy Taxi, will be making an appearance as one of the games selected to appear at the Iron Man of Gaming 2010.  But there’s more! The final mystery game that appears at the tournament is also a SEGA game from the looks of things. If you feel your particular set of gamer skills are enough to win the tournament or just a hardcore Crazy Taxi fan looking for a bit of competition, how about you give it a try?

SEGA having another PSN sale this week

SEGA has announced that they will be having a Valentine’s day sale on their PSN content; the games listed this time are the same as their New Years sale it seems. They promised that this time they will have bundles, something that was missing from the last sale.

Crazy Taxi, Full Auto 2, Sonic Unleashed DLC, Valkyria Chronicles DLC, and Sonic Rivals 1 and 2 have all been confirmed to be in the sale. Maybe SEGA will make a really nice Valkyria Chronicles DLC bundle for us.
