DC x Sonic the Hedgehog Issue #2 Hits Comic Book Stores Today!

Today, DC and SEGA of America released the highly anticipated second issue of the DC x Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series, available at local comic book shops and online retailers nationwide. Fans can follow Team Sonic and the Justice League’s latest adventure in this new issue.

On April 30th, DC x Sonic the Hedgehog #1 will be returning to retailers following its incredible launch in March. This second printing will arrive with a recolored version of Pablo M. Collar’s main cover for issue #1, and an open-to-order variant cover featuring Sonic as The Flash. Comics to Cartridge: Comics that inspired Comix Zone

It’s quite obvious that Comix Zone is a 16-bit video game tribute to the comic book medium. It takes several aspects from a variety of popular comics throughout history and uses them in its own way to create a unique world.  Here are some that I’ve noticed during play. Since the developers never talked about stories in comics that influenced them, some of these could only be coincidence.
