Nagoshi’s latest game, Binary Domain might have had a “not so great” debut trailer, but it seems his Yakuza 4 game is starting off its American marketing rather well. Now we are starting character trailers with Shun Akiyama.
I like the English voice trailer, even if they are trying to hide the fact that the game will be all Japanese voiced. Game will be hitting a Playstation 3 near you this upcoming Spring. You ready?

Sega can actually do a TV spot with this style of trailer, wonder if they will?
Either way they're promoting this well so far, so outselling Yakuza 3 is hopefully a sure-fire thing.
I don't like Shun Akiyama from the sound of it.
You're probably not going to like every character in Yakuza 4, some of the people you play as are apparently are REALLY bad people.
Which I like, I think it'll bring back some much-needed edge to the series. I thought Yakuza 3 sort of turned Kazuma into a wuss.
Shun Akiyama is much more likeable then the first impressions you get… In fact he is one of the most likeable characters once you know all about him.
Some of them ARE really bad characters in a sense, but they all have that 'honor code' or what ever. So basically you feel like their good people deep deep down. I think thats the whole premise of the Yakuza series.
Well as long as we don't spend 50% of this game helping orphans with their homework I think we're good. :]
