SEGA and EA have reached an agreement to have SEGA distribute EA titles in Japan. Seems that this deal will take effect this year, with Shadows of the Damned being the first new title on September 22nd.
SEGA also hopes, starting next month, to put a list of EA back-catalog titles for release. Seems this is a great deal for SEGA. Now lets see if they put more promotional effort into selling Shadows of the Damned in Japan than EA put in the USA.

Not bad news.
Whilst I'm not the biggest fan of EA, or many of their games I don't deny the quality has shot up in recent years so this isnt a bad thing.
I'd be much more offened of Sega signed a deal to do more shitty marvel games or something.
I wish Sega had published No More Heroes, since it felt like a Dreamcast game anyway, so it's good to see them now publishing Grasshopper's next game, in some form anyway.
As for the rest of EA's lineup…eh. I can take it or leave it. I wonder if they'll successfully manage to sell Western games in Japan. Capcom did it with GTA and Activision isn't doing so badly with CoD so it's definitely possible. Square-Enix doesn't seem to be having much luck with Eidos' games over there though…
What was wrong with my old post?
Is Japan that irrelevant now?
Imagine if they did this 10 years back.
Well atleast the SEGA/EA wars era is over we can that Peter Moore for this probably.
