A Nintendo exclusive no more! Via the Steam store comes news that 2013’s Nintendo Wii U game Sonic Lost World will be releasing to PC on November 2nd. The game is available for a $29.99 pre-purchase and as an added incentive SEGA is throwing in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for free to those who buy before release. Who asked for this? If this is this year’s surprise fall port, I’m flat out disappointed tbh.

  2. Monty says:

Sega’s desperate attempt at recouping below average sales for Lost World?

  3. radrappy says:

Pretty happy about this. With the low wiiu install base, a huge chunk of the sonic fandom hasn’t played this game.

It is very divisive in terms of enjoyment but is a great conversation piece concerning the future of the franchise.

I’m also convinced that since their major Sonic release was pushed into 2016. That left a vacancy for a 2015 Sonic game.

A PC port of an older Wii U titles seems to be a somewhat low-risk investment that just might bring SEGA a bit extra cash.

  5. Billy Jean says:

Yes! I don’t need a Wii U now to play this game,

  6. bertodecosta says:

Yes. Next port the other WiiU’s Sonic game to PC too.
    What’s the other game anyway?
    Sonic Boom ???
    Nevermind then.

  7. Ben says:

Eh, hopefully it includes all the patched-in features updated to the Wii U version after the fact.

  8. Aoba Seragaki says:

Sounds nice, but i prefer a port of Sonic Colors.

  9. CrispX says:

They continue to the lost world, if they not release Shenmue 1, 2 HD, JSRF, OTOGI, BAYONETTA, SKIES OF ARCADIA and many more…
