The XBLA version of Daytona USA is now available to play on Xbox One via its backwards compatibility. This HD version of the 1993 breakout arcade hit Daytona USA was released way back in 2011 and is now playable on your shiny new Xbox One. It seems this is the closes we will be getting to a Daytona USA re-release, so Xbox fans should be quite thrilled as its the only current generation system with Daytona USA. If any old game is a system seller for SEGA fans, its probably Daytona USA.
Seems to be right in time, seeing as SEGA has revived the Daytona USA brand in their arcade division with a brand new entry to the franchise. Like always if you owned the game already on Xbox 360, all you have to do is log in and re-download it on Xbox One to enjoy it. No need to buy it again. If you don’t own Daytona USA yet, well, get a copy!

And a few Sonic titles like Unleashed and Generations.
There’s also still the original Sega and Sonic All Stars Racing (preceding the ‘Transformed’ sequel).
And Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram. Might also be an opportunity to put the original Virtual On: Cyber Troopers on XBLA for western regions as the re-release of the original was a Japanese exclusive for XBLA that came as part of the Model 3 collection, along with Virtual Striker. It will be the first time it has received a home port since it’s original Sega Saturn release.
And then there’s Outrun Online, but as Sega no longer has an in date Ferrari license for now, it will probably not happen, unless it doesn’t count as a ‘new release’ and only gets backward compatibility conversion for those who have already purchased the title when it was on the digital marketplace, but then, as they can’t sell it, there’ll not be much incentive to bother with it probably, unlike with Castle of Illusion which just made the cut before the Disney license expired.
Aside from that, I think that just about would be near every Sega title for the 360 given the backwards compatibility treatment.
*I would’ve included After Burber Climax and Sega Rally Online Arcade (which is actually Sega Rally 3 in all but name w/ a new course and a few other extras) to the list, but it shares a similar fate to Outrun Online and Castle of Illusion – they had to be taken off XBLA due to licencing.
But for those still unaware, it is not the end if you are able to get the download codes to some of these titles like Castle of Illusion and Sega Rally Online Arcade as it is still possible to download today even though they are officially delisted on the marketplace with the codes if you can find them, but as not all of them were given the backwards compatibility conversion, you’d have to keep a spare 360 around to make use of them.
From then they could still do Fighting Vipers.
And then there’s Sega’s full retail 360 titles such as:
*Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection, or ‘Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection’ as it’s officially known in the US (exact same game/compilation).

Is that a full Sega list? That seems more than I thought.
Segabits should do a inexhaustive list of yet to be added Sega games to backwards compatibility, I’m sure there’s quite a few people who still unaware of some Sega titles. What say you?
