Thanks to an overly enthusiastic staffer at Hagami/Carroll Inc. who wanted to update the company’s online portfolio, we now have an advance look at how Sonic will appear in the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog movie from Paramount. The company had been tasked with creating a brand guidelines book and package design for the movie, as the images show off brand elements including graphics, character poses and the brand personality. The elephant in the room of course is the newly designed cinematic take on Sonic in all its glory. Fan reaction has been mixed, with comments ranging from “better than I expected” to “okay” to gifs of people jumping from windows.
Personally, I think it looks awful and cannot wait for the SEGA News Bits video where George and I pick apart the blue little guy. In the meantime, check out the gallery of images below and share your own opinions in the comments.
Well, it’s not bad. I mean I was truly expecting something hideous, but this is actually ok with me.
Me too dude!!! Im so hyped to be honest. Now show me the ticket costs!!!
Not that bad as I thought It would be, honestly.
Mmm…
less worse than what I expected…
however nothing good enough,
it looks like more hedgehog than the “real” Sonic… and it’s not necessarily a positive thing.
Barry, anyway, you rolled me laughing…
when you wrote: “to gifs of people jumping from windows” 😉
In my opinion it’s very good. It’s hard to modelise old game or cartoon charakters for real movies. Actually, to this point everything I now about is better than what I expected. We see us in the lightplayhouse:-)
Honestly, I like it a lot. Imagine it animated – it’ll bring the hedgehog back into animal territory for people who aren’t as familiar with the IP.
Let’s be honest – glistening blue spikes like fans are used to make his texture look more like a balloon or a dolphin than a furry rodent.
It’s okay but ‘okay’ should not be their target.
Every weekend i used to pay a visit this web site, because i want enjoyment, for
the reason that this this website conations really
pleasant funny data too.
With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into
any issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of exclusive content I’ve either
authored myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over
the internet without my permission. Do you
know any solutions to help prevent content from being stolen?
I’d certainly appreciate it.
