House of the Dead: Overkill sequel in the works?

According to Nintendo Life, who has direct sources inside SEGA, the game is codenamed: “House of the Dead: Overkill 2”. They also stated that this one is rumored to be in the works for both Wii and (most likely) Playstation Move.

What about that release date? According to Nintendo Life, it should come out in mid-2011. Is it possible? Yes, the last game did end with a set up for another game.

    Hell. YES!

Overkill was one of the first games I bought a Wii for.

Maybe they can reclaim the Guinness record again for the most MFs in a game, too.

I am extremely happy about this, in fact TOO happy that my face looks like Norman Osborn when he was recording a video where the Thing was beating the crap out of Daken. Anyway, can't wait to see the return of Issac Washington.

Its a rumor, lets not get too excited just yet.

I suspect this will come ture… I hope it is on Wii and Move. I hope its longer then the original. Online Co-Op would be pretty sweet.

Oh and I hope they win back the record for 'FUCKING'

but I hope the script is better written, jokes are better. I felt some were kind of cringe worthy and not in a good way, In a 'that was corny and a bit rubbish' kind of way.

    Over all, fun game though.

  5. Wii OR Move I can see, but I can't imagine two different versions being developed for such a niche title. Unless Wii games are easily ported to PS3.

Well, No More Heroes is currently being ported to the PS3 from the Wii with Move support (something that the Japanese release didn't have, if I'm not mistaken).

Personally, I'd be interested in Move if they ported Oneechanbara from either the 360 or Wii releases.
