Yuji Naka’s action game called Tenkuu no Kishi Rodea

Yuji Naka has teased this action game before, and now in the latest issue of Famitsu he goes into detail about his latest creation. The game will be called Tenkuu no Kishi Rodea, and like we already know, it will be sky based. The story will be written by Takumi Miyajima (Tales of Symphonia/Tales of the Abyss).

The game will let you take to the skies and shoot enemies, and it’s also said to feature ‘non flying levels’. Even though Yuji Naka originally teased this as his ‘HD action game’ it is actually heading to the Wii/3DS. So another Nintendo exclusive.

Enjoy the scans! Game is being published by Kadokawa Games, not SEGA. Just to let you guys know.

  1. Curse you Naka! Another Wii exclusive? C'mon dude. Let's see some HD action. 😛

  2. Sharky says:

Sega should have published this… It looks very good.

  3. Suzuki Yu says:

    @Sharky

yeah they should, from what i read it's sounds like a really promising game not to mention that their previous title "Ivy the Kiwi" was my game of the year no one played along with after burner climax.

  4. On the flip side, I guess this gives me another reason to get a Wii this year.

  5. ‘none flying levels’.

Are you quoting a spelling mistake that Yuji Naka made?

  6. I hope this comes west, and they don't butcher it with dubbed English voices.

  7. CrazyTails says:

I have no doubts this'll come west. It looks really really good and it just makes me happy that the only console i've kept (ever since my brothers moved) is the wii :D.

    Jippie ka yay mothafffff

  8. The visuals alone make me want it. I hope Naka regains his skills from the Saturn era for this. More NiGHTS and Burning Rangers, less Billy Hatcher.

  9. Dr. SEGA Monkey says:

WHY did SEGA turn this down???

  10. Sega Uranus says:

Yeah, this seems like a game people would actually like. Why did SEGA say no to this and yes to Let's Tap?
