NG.DEV.TEAM bringing GunLord to the Dreamcast in 2011

Less than a month into 2011 and already we have two games to look forward to on the Dreamcast! RedSpotGames announced the shmup Strumwind, and now NG.DEV.TEAM have announced their next game GunLord! Rene Hellwig briefly talked about it in our interview with them last year.

Very little is known of the game, aside from a teaser site and logo. However, above the logo are the words “Jump. Shoot. Explore.” as well as “A Jump N Shoot Action Game”.

Thanks to Dreamcast Junkyard reader Anthony817 for the tip!

Wow that music sounds really nice. Can't wait to see what it's going to reveil

  2. Check the Dreamcast Junkyard link above, I spotted the main character in the teaser art (had to adjust the brightness to see him clearly). Looks a bit like Vectorman crossed with the Predator.

  3. CrazyTails says:

Lol I didn't even notice, nice job there. Looks to be a 2d sidescroller. I don't know if it's the vagueness, but it looks more like a genesis/16 bit game. I could be wrong but any new dreamcast game should be a good thing I guess 😛

Rafael Dyll from SONIQ.FACTORY is doing the music for this game, he scored Last Hope as well.

We were informed about this in our interview, it is still a good read.

A breath for True Gaming in our not so exciting current Gaming days! I read somewhere the comment "Dream Turrican" Oh yeah!

The character censored in the screen shot, isn't all that exciting. I hope he/it is an enemy.

I don't know about you guys but I would like to control a human after all these years of flying space ships and all.
