Behind the scenes with Thor
Thor: God Of Thunder
SEGA appeared at WonderCon in San Francisco last week, and showed off their two remaining Marvel games: Captain America: Super Soldier, and Thor: God Of Thunder. Above is a new behind the scenes look at Thor, and a very bad looking Thor trailer for the Wii. Over at the SEGA Blogs, they also included that awful looking Captain America Wii trailer that I previously reported on.
So, what do the SEGAbits readers think of these two games? I think Captain America is looking a lot better than Thor, and I hope SEGA will strive for this quality anytime they ever think about making another license game.

While the visuals of the HD Thor game may not quite be up to most people's standards I think the core game looks like it could be fun. I enjoyed one of Liquid Entertainment's previous titles "Rise of the Argonauts" so I think I'd be up for giving Thor a try. However, I do agree with you Supa, overall I'm more excited for the Captain America game.
What do I think? I think I wouldn't mind if SegaBits pretended these damn Marvel license games didn't exist…
Rise of the Argonauts was pretty fun actually, if they can create a story driven Thor action game I'd definitely get it once the price drops.
Centrale, your opinion is noted, but these games are SEGA, and so we have to report on them. They will both be out by mid May, so it won't be long and they'll be out of the headlines. However, the Captain America game looks as if it will not be doomed to failure. You should check it out.
Is there anything about the DS version of Thor? It's being developed by WayForward, which gives it some promise.
I think it's hilarious that the marketing team actually felt the need to explain to you, "DESTROY ENEMIES WITH THOR'S HAMMER!" as if that weren't completely obvious from what's happening in the trailer.
I think the game looks better than people want to give it credit for.
