Just in time for Sonic’s 20th birthday, TSSZ reports that Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing will be, well, racing to the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch tonight. The game is a higher-resolution version of the DS port. The best news is it will be available for the low, low price of only $1.99 U.S. (1.19 Europe) until June 25. At that point it goes up to $4.99. I got the chance to play this at E3 and it’s a well done port that even looks great on an iPad.

I totally forgot I own this game on 360. Once I got 1000/1000 and most of my friends stopped playing it got shelved. I really like this game and wish there were more expansion packs to it. I hope a sequil is released.
As for the iphone version being so cheap, its a good deal. I kind of wish I owned an iphone.
Like always, no android.
Just downloaded and played it for a half hour. Great port! Borrows track designs from the DS, but looks loads better! The roster and track count are cut down, but for a $2 game I'm not complaining. There are loads of play modes (nearly as many as in the console versions) and it even plays well on a first gen iPod Touch.
I'm missin' the Android version as well. Come on SEGA!
On the topic of this game, the DLC is on sale for the console versions. Is the Ryo forklift worth the now $3 they're asking?
