SEGA posted new boxart and screens on the Playstation Blog for us to enjoy. Like usually a ton of fans asked SEGA questions about unconfirmed aspects of House of the Dead Overkill Extended Cut. One of the questions is if the game will have online.
“Wish I could answer that now, but right now, we just have to wait and see. :)” – David Bruno, Public Relations Manager, Sega of America
Even though it isn’t a yes, don’t be shocked if you will be able to team up with someone on PSN and shoot down mutant bastards online.

The euro cover has the PSN logo on top, the one present in all online titles, so it is very probable.
This question was asked on the EU PS Blog. SEGA answered and said co-op is offline only and said the game will feature online leaderboards.
Here's the 2 comments:
"The game features offline co-op only."
"From the comfort of your sofa you will be able to experience the story mode in two player, as well as the mini-games. For your online functionality needs you will have ledaderboard support."
