Sega has already announced that they will have two games ready for the launch of the Playstation Vita, Virtua Tennis and an unannounced title which is widely believed to be Sonic Generations. Today possible new details have emerged in the forum of a list detailing games in development for the PS Vita from various 3rd party publishers has leaked and guess what? Yep, Sega won’t disappoint!
Hit the jump to find out what they are!
If that doesn’t get you excited as a Sega fan, you’re probably not a Sega fan! As well as the hotly anticipated Sonic Generations and the much loved Virtua Tennis series making an appearance, a new Phantasy Star game and a new Yakuza game? The Playstation Vita is looking more and more appealing! Of course this is still a rumour until it is either confirmed or debunked!
Now how about porting Valkyria Chronicles 3 to PS:Vita and releasing it in the West? Oh and that rumoured new Shining Force game on the Canvas engine would go down a treat too!

Phantasy Star seems to be doing good in portable and OMFG SONIC GENERATIONS!!!
I wonder if the Sonic Generation game will be an HD port or a 3DS port?
I also question the validity of this list, the upper-left corner seems photoshopped.
I’m actually leaning towards it being true.
darn not only do i have to get a 3DS for sonic generations i now have to get a playstation vista
This pleases me. I guess I bought this. Too bad we get no Shinobi port… 🙁
this really begs the question, who the hell is porting generations to Vita? Sega isn’t known to handle this kind of stuff by themselves.
Another Yakuza and Phantasy Star? It’s a new handheld, I hope to see some orginal IP’s from Sega, or brought back.

If you’ve been watching Vita trailers at Gamescon, I don’t think there’s any question to get Vita over 3DS. It does suck that Sega only has 4 Vita games compared to 20 3DS games. At least 1 of the 4 is the BIG one, Sonic Generations. A there’s a lot of Sega games you could buy off the PSP store. If you look at the rest of that leaked Vita list, best lineup of games EVER for a handheld: Call of Duty, Resident Evil Revelations, Dead Space, Mercs, Mass Effect, Metal Gear Solid Collection, Metal Gear Solid: Rising, CONTRA, and Castlevania, to name a few.
Of course, Shinobi 3DS is worth the price of admission alone.
