[Fancy new logo too!]
Hello everyone, I’m proud to announce that “My Life with SEGA” is going to be the first YouTube series for us here at SEGAbits. Some of you guys might have already seen the show, if you have then you know it’s excellent. All new episodes of the series will now appear on the SEGAbits YouTube channel.
So what is the premise of the series? Looking at all those SEGA games we all grew up with and love. This is an ongoing thing here at SEGAbits, we are trying to get more retro content. Next week will be part 2 of A.J’s Stallion series. Hit the jump to see the first episode, which includes a review for Rambo III and Cliffhanger!
Great video 😀
Really excited to see more of these, and I’m especially excited for these vids getting a wider audience. I’ll make sure to do my part.
Haha yeah i laughed pretty hard during the cliffhanger recview
I was immediately repulsed by the use of Mega Man music for the intro. I will not even watch this episode because of that.
To me, that gives the impression that regardless of how much the video maker enjoys or appreciates SEGA, Mega Man is more important.
LOL! Alex Gonzales, the kid that made the logo for me, chose that music to represent the website I was originally posting these videos on. Mondo Cool Cast covers everything videogame related; not just SEGA. Believe it or not, I’ve never played a single Mega Man title….
Oh, I make these videos by the way. 😀
I see. Hope you did not take it too seriously. Not really that big of a deal, just a big pet peeve of mine. It has nothing to do with Mega Man in particular (I like some of the first games a lot), just I really am annoyed when people seem to lack focus on things like this. Even if it is the site’s introduction, you should look into changing it per video or something, that Mega Man song is as overused as the Super Mario Brothers theme.
I watched the video now and like how positive you are on Rambo III. It has aged kind of bad, but it was a killer ap for the Genesis when it came out and should get more respect that it does. I hope more people check it out after watching this.
Quit being a drama queen, sanus.
Logo’s a bit too rusted and dirty looking.
Being a SEGA fan is dirty business and were all a bit rusty. 😉
I love the new logo. Whoever put that together did a fantastic job. Thanks, guys! *thumbs up*
