Well, the game has finally been announced, and with a hilarious trailer. As you can see, the crowd is going wild and can’t wait to play this game. Coming to XBLA and PSN this fall.

What about Steam?
Came to post this.
SEGA occasionally doesn’t put a PC/Steam icon in the trailers even after a game is announced for PC (like Sonic & All Stars Racing transformed trailers). I would be surprised if SA2 didn’t come to Steam, especially with Jet Set Radio and NiGHTS coming to Steam.

Of all the HD remakes announced so far, this one is the least exciting for me. Sonic Adventure 2, although I loved it on DC has not aged well.
I still break it out on DC occasionally, mostly for the Chao. I’ll buy it just to encourage more Chao.

There’s no reason whatsoever to HD-remake this, though the trailer made me LOL a good bit. Good stuff.
