Project Diva F 2nd announced for PS Vita and PS3

Note: The above video is actually from Project Diva F, which you will be able to play in English this August! It’s quite a fun a game, so if you haven’t tried the demo yet get it on PSN. There is no footage or screens of Project Diva F 2nd, yet.

Project Diva f 2nd has been announced in Famitsu for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 for release in Spring 2014. Japan only for now of course. Songs confirmed to be in the game so far are “Colorful X Melody”, “Romeo and Cinderella”, and “Akatsuki Arrival”. Does anyone plan on importing it? or Maybe a better question would be are you looking forward to Project Diva F English version out this August?

dont recommend it on vita since the buttons are small :/

  2. Alimn says:

So, this is & VF are what AM2 been busy with for a few years by now, I think it’s time for Shenmue…

I’ll be looking forward to this anyways.

  3. Will says:

I’ve never seen anywhere says that Hatsune Miku Project Diva was developed by AM2. Don’t know where Alimn heard that from.

Wiki page just says its developed by SEGA.

hmm, maybe someone knowledgeable like Aki-at knows!

  4. radrappy says:

Ladies and gentlemen, the new face of Sega.

  5. Trippled says:

The games are developed by the consumer division (presumably by developers that did stuff like Puyo Pop and Feel the Magic), so AM2 didn’t do the general game, but rather the upscaled Arcade version.

Since the Arcade conversion, the head of AM2 Team (Makoto Osaki) was also involved in other versions of the game as a producer. I’ve heard he’s a vocaloid fan , and that’s why there are costumes in VF5FS?

But yeah I think AM2 is more busy with updating Border Break and Cross.

  6. Aki-at says:

The only Miku games AM2 has developed are the Project Mirai titles for the 3DS. Otherwise all other Miku games have been handled by another inhouse SEGA team.

  7. Trippled says:

Hmmmm….after looking more into it seems that CS3 and AM2 worked in collaboration ever since they ported it to Arcade

  8. Doppleganger says:

Am2 and cs coolaborate on project diva F series. Project diva arcade and its Ps3 port ‘Dreamy Theatre” were both worked on by am2 using the virtua fighter 5 engine. Basically “team project diva and mirai” is now comprised of original project diva team and am2 staff.
