The icing on the cake will be if Sega add in a Typing of the Dead mode based on that Dreamcast game – The Typing of the Dead.
They did that for the House of the Dead Overkill re-release, where Typing of the Dead Overkill mode is bundled in with everything from the House of the Dead Overkill plus a bunch of extras added in, which you can still get on the Steam store, it even works fine on a Steamdeck.

Finally!!!! I was worried that the remake was canceled at this point! it’s been almost 5 to six years since the last one. spring can’t come soon enough!

I’d still hold that concern for the remake of the Saturn classic Panzer Dragoon Zwei, been a while since anything was heard on this, and it seems to be at least a year behind original schedule.

And on top of that the Wildman official Sega licenced project Panzer Dragoon Voyage Record, originally scheduled for 2021, seems to have just mysteriously disappeared without a trace from the regular news, only some report of a dodgy story about Wildman seemingly passing away before it was later reported this news was false.

Nothing has been heard of either of these projects for a couple of years now, but they haven’t been officially cancelled either, unlike Hyenas which was being worked on with GearBox and had already cost Sega millions before it was cancelled.

I doubt this will be better than just playing the Wii version.

Great news, another cheap remake from devs who have no idea about the source material. We love seeing our beloved franchises’ names get tarnished around here because we have no respect for ourselves. Post-processing and fancy effects up the bum to make it look next-gen. Check. Atmosphere? Non-existent. Art style? Cartoonish. Animations? Overwatch porn animators who work for tips could do better. But it has the RELOAD guy saying RELOAD!!!! It’s so faithful to the source material, guys. It’s just like the original game because all the surface level details are there!!! THANK YOU SEGA FOR GIVING OUT YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTIES TO CHEAP SHOVELWARE STUDIOS PLEASE FEED US MORE CHEAP SLOP

Dude. Calm down… I can understand where you’re coming from even if I respectfully disagree. But you’re making it sound like they ran over your dog. Trust me. It’s not worth it.
