A Cast of Characters

Players will take on the role of Raidou Kuzunoha as he uncovers the strange happenings within the Capital. This time, all primary characters appearing in the main story will be fully voiced for the first time!

Notable characters include:

  • Dr. Tsukumo, an eccentric rocket enthusiast who spends his days conducting research in his humble “Amazing Science Lab” on the fringes of Fukagawa-cho. Though aloof, his honest nature has made him beloved by the community.

  • The Owner of Ryugu, a shrewd businesswoman running the elite Ginza-cho restaurant frequented by powerful figures. Narumi, Raidou’s partner, often finds himself indebted to her—both financially and otherwise.

  • Denpachi Iida, a hardworking rickshaw runner dedicated to supporting his younger sister. Despite the rise of modern transportation, Denpachi holds pride in his traditional trade.

Exploring a Living, Breathing Capital

From Western-influenced cityscapes to traditional Edo-style districts, the remaster allows players to explore a vivid reimagining of the Capital, including:

  • Tsukudo-cho: A bustling town home to the Narumi Detective Agency, where various shops line the streets and townsfolk of all ages gather.

  • Fukagawa-cho: Steeped in Edo’s traditional downtown atmosphere, this district resists Western influence with its row houses and local entertainment spots.

  • Ginza-cho: The city’s energetic downtown with tall buildings and a fast-paced modern vibe, where streetcars and automobiles navigate their way through, creating a distinctly urban landscape.

  • Harumi-cho: A trading port with a strong foreign presence, complete with brick architecture and churches. It sees a wealth of traffic from sailors and foreigners.

Facilities to Discover

Players can visit a wide range of locations that aid in both story progression and gameplay:

  • Narumi Detective Agency: The base of operations where players can save your game data, heal, and take part in mini-games like mahjong to challenge Narumi and your demon allies to earn money based on your score.

  • Konnou-ya: An antique shop in Tsukudo-Cho, offering everything from combat tools to alchemy ingredients, run by a business-savvy shopkeeper.

  • Shin-Sekai Soda Joint: A favorite hangout spot for Devil Summoners serving stat-boosting drinks, managed by a figure connected to the mysterious Yatagarasu and supports the Devil Summoners through the operation of Shin-Sekai.

  • Nameless Shrine: Despite its weathered look, this location serves as a gateway to the supernatural. Through the Herald of Yatagarasu, players can enter the Dark Realm via a special ritual.

Inside the shrine, players can access the Training Hall, a multi-floor dungeon where they face waves of demons. The ultimate challenge, Trial of a Hundred Demons, pushes players to defeat 100 enemies within a time limit for a rare reward from Hearld of Yatagarasu.

Enhanced Replayability and New Content

The remaster brings several features to boost replay value:

  • Case Files: Side missions from both citizens and demons offer additional rewards.

  • Detective Legend Mode: A challenging difficulty unlocked after the first playthrough for veteran Devil Summoners.

  • Raiho Fusion: Fans can unlock a special version of Jack Frost named Raiho by completing specific events.

Free DLC Coming Soon

To celebrate fan involvement, Atlus will release a free DLC titled Demonic Designations: Summoner Titles on July 3rd, adding 10 new titles for Raidou—seven voted on by fans in North America and three from Southeast Asia.
