Our annual SEGA fan meetup, Arcade Adventure, is happening at the Galloping Ghost Arcade in Brookfield, Illinois on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026! Consider this the save the date before we reveal this year’s logo and artwork (by Pseudochel, as always), as well as the specific times. But until then, put Saturday, October 3rd on your calendar for Arcade Adventure 5 and we will see at the Galloping Ghost Arcade in Brookfield, Illinois!

Just a Yank only event again…what a surprise.
SEGAbits is US based with only one contributing writer in the UK. We’d love to have international fans but the reality is these meetups are planned locally to keep costs at a minimum and it would just so happen that the largest arcade in the world is 10 mins away. If a European fan ever wants to put on a SEGA fan meetup at a local arcade they’re more than welcome!

The Sega8bit forum has an annual meetup in England. Looks like this year it’s in Leigh on 22 August.
There’s a Scottish one in Glasgow I heard from TSG (The Sega Guys) youtube channel, as well as one of the UKs biggest anime’s conventions being hosted in Glasgow. The Sega Guys are fast becoming one of the best Sega focused and prolific channels on YouTube, it’s run by two guys, one Scottish and the other English, the Scottish host is James aka the ‘SEGAHolic’, and the English one is Dan the ‘MegaDriver’. They also are active on X.

I really wish I could go, But unfortunately I’m nowhere near Illinois since I practically live on the west coast and travel costs are insanely expensive at the moment. But like I said, hope you guys have fun anyway!
