Project X Zone to include over 200 characters

Now, just because they promise 200 characters, doesn’t mean there will be 200 playable characters. It just means there will be a ton of cameos, some will be villains others NPCs. If you haven’t heard about Project X Zone, it will feature characters from SEGA, Namco-Bandai and Capcom in a tactical RPG on the Nintendo 3DS.

I know what you are saying, “When is the game out?” Sadly, the game hasn’t been announced for release outside of Japan and I doubt it will make its way out of there. Namco x Capcom on the PS2 stayed Japan exclusive as well.

CAPCOM says Nintendo 3DS launch is as Exciting as the Dreamcast launch

Even though this statement does focus on the Nintendo 3DS launch, it’s nice to see that the guys at Capcom still worthship the great times they had with the Dreamcast. Recently Yoshinori Ono told the EDGE magazine, that the Nintendo 3DS launch is as exciting as the one of Sega Dreamcast back then.

“First, we are in Nintendo country. Second, the feeling I have with 3DS is the same as when the Dreamcast came out – as a developer, I mean, these machines are so exciting. We’re fascinated by it at Capcom, and diving into the innards at the moment, but you know there’s just so much more there to unlock; it’s got more to give.”

5 SEGA crossovers that need to happen

When I was a kid I used to love my crossover comics, I really got obsessed with the idea of having my favorite video games in a crossover, especially after I played Fighters Megamix on the Saturn. I thought it was brilliant. Capcom has been doing this crossover thing for awhile and in a few days they will release Marvel vs. Capcom 3, which makes me wonder why SEGA doesn’t do more crossovers.

As always, if you have any crossover ideas that I didn’t list, let us know in the comments.

Ace Attorney is a spin-off of the popular DS series Phoenix Wright games. The second title of the Ace Attorney series just came out in Japan, what better way to promote?
In the attraction you take the lead role of Miles Edgeworth and physically move around to collect evidence, while searching for the criminal. The whole thing is said to take about 20 minutes. The attraction is hitting Joypolis in Spring, one play will run you ¥600.
