First Dawn of War III gameplay footage emerges

SEGA and Relic Entertainment have now shown the first glimpse at gameplay for their upcoming game Dawn of War III. While the first trailer they showed had a dark paint like art style, making some fans think that was going to be what the game looked like. It seems the actual game will have a more ‘comic book cartoon’ like art style. Also surprising to see how much color the game has, which in my opinion is a good thing.

I know Dawn of War III isn’t on every SEGA fans radar, but what do you think of the gameplay shown? Let us know in the comments below.

Etrian Odyssey V First Gameplay Footage Hits the Net

The upcoming Etrian Odyssey V: The End of the Long Myth just got a release date and it didn’t take long for Atlus to set up a live stream for the game, showing off the first in-game footage.

Etrian Odyssey V:End of the Long Myth is set to release in Japan on August 4, 2016; only on 3DS. No Western release have been announced yet. What do you guys think of the game? Looks like Etrian Odyssey to me and having more of that isn’t necessarily a bad thing!

Transformers: Human Alliance gameplay footage hits the net

SEGA’s Ringedge 2 licensed arcade game, Transformers: Human Alliance, has finally gotten some gameplay footage posted online. In this video you will see gameplay from the England stage, which was part of the Facebook vote SEGA held.  Seems that the cheesy voice acting that SEGA light gun shooters are known for has returned in full force in this title. You will take a role of a human, helping Autobots fight against attacking Decepticons.

Director for the title is Mr. Oga-Shi, who directed such light gun titles like Gunblade, Lost World and Let’s Go Jungle/Island franchise.

Want even more Sonic Lost World gameplay? Here’s more Sonic Lost World gameplay!

Because clearly we hadn’t seen enough of Sonic Lost World yet, SEGA has shown off the new Gamescom demo to Gamespot. This 22 minute long video shows three new zones and one we’ve seen before, so if you want to spoil yourself all of these levels you can do so by watching the video above. Or if you’re going to Gamescom you can play it yourself at Nintendo’s booth.

Direct-feed footage of Sonic Lost World reveals some awesome music!

The past few days of E3 have given us a lot of Sonic Lost World footage, but a bulk of that was either filmed from the show floor or featured the manly voice of “Men of E3” winner SEGA brand manager Aaron Webber. Now, thanks to Gamespot and TSSMB member Woun comes direct-feed footage of Sonic Lost World in action on the Wii U, free of show floor chatter and commentary. Check out the video above and the video after the break to soak in all the sounds and music we’ll be hearing this holiday season. Should more footage appear, we’ll be sure to add it to this post.

Total War: Rome 2: 10 minutes of gameplay

Above is ten minutes of narrated gameplay. This video is showing an ambush, watch as the Romans are chased out.

The above battle is based on a real battle where Germanic tribes happen to ambush and slaughter three Roman legions.  Total War: Rome 2 is set to come out later this year.

Sixteen minutes of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed 3DS gameplay footage

Despite being a week away, there has been a severe lack of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed gameplay footage. That is, until today! YouTube user Dafstervideos has uploaded a whopping sixteen and a half minutes of gameplay footage. I have to say, the game is looking surprisingly good, for a handheld port of a console title. It is far better looking than the DS version of the first game, that’s for sure. Give the video a watch and let us know what you think of the 3DS iteration. The game is due to release in the EU on the 8th, and in the US on the 12th.

Sonic Jump gameplay video appears, Hardlight Studio named as developer

It looks like SEGA’s Hardlight Studio, the folks behind the Viking PC port, were also busy developing Sonic Jump. In this 15 minute Sonic Jump gameplay video, Hardlight’s logo appears before the game begins, confirming that the developer has shifted focus from Vita games to iOS. While their “unique action adventure” title is still M.I.A., Sonic Jump looks to be a fun smartphone update to the 2005 mobile phone game Sonic Jump. So before you call this a Doodle Jump ripoff, remember than SEGA did it four years before Lima Sky did.

The game features both a story and arcade mode, with the story being as simple as the Genesis originals. Eggman has captured your animal friends, and the player can choose Sonic, Tails or Knuckles as the hero who leaps skyward after Eggman. Series staples including letter grades, red rings, badniks, springs, rings, spikes and power-ups appear. Fans who have searched through the game’s assets have also found character images of Amy, Cream, Rouge, Shadow, Blaze and Silver. No word on if these characters are also playable. The game releases tomorrow, and we hope to have a review up within the week.

“Gods, what have we done?” See the first Total War: ROME II gameplay trailer

SEGA has released an epic trailer for Total War: ROME II showing some pretty amazing in-game footage. Ships! Shouting! Giant statue heads! Elephants!

For the first in-game look at the next title in the award-winning series, The Creative Assembly present a glimpse of the epic warfare and phenomenal detail players can expect when Total War™: ROME II arrives in 2013.

The year is 146BC, brilliant tactician Scipio Aemilianus is dispatched by Rome to break the three-year-long siege of Carthage, an unforgivable blight on the glory of the growing Empire. Ruthless determination and an almost suicidal amphibious assault is required, but the young consul is uncomfortably aware that the price of victory may be much higher than the senate realizes.
