Bayonetta 1 & 2 being removed from European and Japanese Wii U eShops next week

Amiibos allow you to instantly unlock costumes in Switch Bayonetta
If you own a Wii U and want to get a digital copy of Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2, you might want to get it sometime this week. According to the official European and Japanese websites have posted that the game will be delisted on Sept 18 in Japan and Sept 19 in Europe.

On the other hand Nintendo of America hasn’t made this sort of announcement, so it will still be available to purchase on your Wii U. If you missed purchasing Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 digitally, you can always get the game physically…

The Alliance Alive 3DS demo goes live in North America

the-alliance-alive

Atlus has released a demo for their upcoming The Alliance Alive game on the 3DS, the demo is now live on the North American eshop. The Alliance Alive is being done by the same team (Cattle Call) that made The Legend of Legacy, which we reviewed and thought it was just alright. While it seems that Nintendo and other developers are moving development onto the Nintendo Switch, Atlus still has at least four titles being released for Nintendo 3DS this year.

For European fans, you will be able to download the demo on March 1st. The Alliance Alive hits physical and digital on March 27, 2018.

Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal and Rise of Lyric receive Nintendo eShop price drops through March 21st

Shattered Crystal 3DS box

Both Sonic Boom video games, Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal for the 3DS and Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for the Wii U, are currently on sale over at Nintendo’s eShop. Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal has dropped from $39.99 to $19.99 (50%), and Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric has dropped from $29.99 to $19.99 (33%) while the original retail price was $49.99. If you’ve yet to experience either game, and really really want to own it digitally, these are the lowest prices as of yet. Meanwhile, the physical versions are about on par with the $19.99 price point at select stores. We have been told that these prices go through March 21st.

I reviewed Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal way back with it released, and awarded it a C+. Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric has yet to receive a SEGAbits review, but from my experience I’d avoid it and just check out the 3DS game.

Welcome to the 3D Zone! 3D Fantasy Zone II Double coming to the 3DS in Japan!

SEGA has announced that their 12th 3D project is coming to the Nintendo eShop next week and happens to be none other than 3D Fantasy Zone II Double! The 3D remake will feature two game modes combined.

One is titled “The Tears of Opa Opa” which is the original game and a new game mode called “Link Loop Land” which seems to be a score attack/ endless mode to determine how far the player can go. Along with Link Loop Land comes a unique game mechanic called the LINK gauge. The LINK gauge will increase when you WIN the coin and will continue to decrease over time.

The game is set for release on Nintendo eShop in Japan on July 16th. US and EU dates for the game has yet to be announced. In the mean time, there are a couple of 3D SEGA Classics to check out in the Nintendo eShop for a cheap price to try out now in US and EU territories.
