Now that SEGA and Nintendo have announced Yakuza 1&2 HD coming to the Wii U, everyone is asking the question if the new upcoming Yakuza game will appear on Nintendo’s console. In a new interview Nagoshi has stated that it seems unlikely. Yakuza 1&2 HD on Wii U marks the first time ever (not counting mobile phone games) that the series has appeared on a console not made by Sony. When asked if it would be coming to the 3DS, he stated simply no.
But what about the Vita? He said that it seems something natural for people to expect. So it seems if you want your Yakuza fix, it is guaranteed on Sony platforms. I say, the more platforms the better.
Hatsune Miku is on fire over there in Japan, with her latest cameos and now a new teaser site for a new game. All we know is that the game is set to be revealed in 3 days via Famitsu, which usually leaks information earlier than publishers intend to.
So with SEGA West expressing interest in bringing over Project Diva F, maybe its wiser to wait it out and release this new one. But what console or handheld will it be on? Vita again? Playstation 4? I guess we will find out.
Japanese developers weigh in their thoughts and concerns about the upcoming Playstation 4. The interviews were part of an article for the Japanese magazine Famitsu. In the interview both Yakuza team members Toshihiro Nagoshi and Masayoshi Yokoyama gave their thoughts about the Playstation 4. To read what they said, hit the jump.
This week on the show George and Barry the Nomad sit down with the Sonic Talk duo Nuckles87 and Shigs. Listen to us talk about the new SEGA laptops, whine about Aliens: Colonial Marines and criticize the Playstation 4 announcement. Like every podcast, you can’t get us to shut up about Shenmue.

Even though SEGA wasn’t at the event with a game to show off, it is confirmed that they are working on Playstation 4 content. Whatever those games are, I’m excited. Then again it’s to be expected, SEGA supports all major consoles.
But want to see something not expected? How about Kazuma Kiryu at Sony’s press conference He was there for a brief moment, hit the jump to see the screenshot.
