TGS 2020: Astro City Mini Hands-On Details and Pink Second Player Variants Revealed

More news about the upcoming Astro City Mini plug and play was revealed at SEGA’s Tokyo Game Show digital events. A variant with pink buttons, based off the player two controls of an Astro City cabinet, was revealed. Additionally, there will be Astro City Mini controllers and arcade sticks with the pink variant, as well as an accessory to place over the marquee making it appear to be a New Astro City arcade machine (New Astro City was a 1994 revision to the 1993 Astro City with exposed speakers jutting out from above the monitor).

TGS 2020: SEGA Announces Virtua Fighter X Esports

During Tokyo Game Show, SEGA has announced that they will be doing esport events for Virtua Fighter, similar to what they did with Puyo Puyo Champions. They have stated that Virtua Fighter was the world’s first 3D fighting game in 1993 and will be restarted to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the company.

However, it is unknown which game in the series will be focused on the e-sports event, possibly a new game is on the way? We’ll keep you updated when SEGA brings more news regarding the project.

SEGA to announce new Yakuza title this weekend during Tokyo Game Show 2020


While we are still counting down the days for us to play Yakuza: Like a Dragon, the seventh main title in the  Yakuza franchise, the studio is already set to announce yet another Yakuza title this weekend. Will this new title feature more traditional combat? Will Ichiban come back? Could this be the long rumored sequel to Yakuza 0?

We will find out soon since they are set to announce it via the Sega Atlus  Tokyo Game Show stream this September 27th at 8pm JST (4am PT) on YouTube.

SEGA at Tokyo Game Show 2020 Website Released; Cosplay Contest & Broadcast held on 9/25 to 9/27

This year’s Tokyo Game Show will be held online with SEGA launching a new website and will be broadcasting live during the show from September 25th to the 27th on SEGA Atlus TV. Their also hosting a cosplay contest during TGS 2020 where fans can submit their SEGA/Atlus related cosplay creations during the entry period by following the Japanese SEGA Official Twitter account and using the hashtags #SEGATGS2020Cosplay and #SEGATGS2020 with past cosplay also welcomed for entry.
