Shenmue III Enhanced revealed – Trailer, Features and Pre-Order

Since ININ acquired the publishing rights to Shenmue III, the company promised fans an enhanced edition for modern platforms with gameplay and performance improvements. Today, ININ has revealed a trailer, detailed the game’s features and revealed pre-order pages for collectible editions of the game. Oh, and Yu Suzuki has a sweet beard now.

While a release date has yet to be announced, the game will release to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2. For fans of the original two games, this is great news as it brings the full series to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series platforms.

As for features, ININ promises:

DLSS/FSR Support – Improved performance without compromising quality

In addition to standard releases, ININ has planned two editions with bonus materials. The Special Edition includes the full game, an exclusive making of book, a documentary blu-ray in a jewel case and a collector’s box. These are priced at $59.99 for the PC, PS5 and Xbox versions and $74.99 for the Switch 2 version.

The Collector’s Edition will include the full game, a color manual, a wooden move scroll, a keychain (oddly featuring Ryo’s render from Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing), an art book, a poster, stickers, kung fu cards, a square art print, a statue of Ryo training and a blu-ray documentary in a blu-ray case. All this is housed in a collector’s box. All platforms are priced at $199.99. Pre-orders for this edition end May 4th, 2026.
