SEGA Reveals Classic Tails, Chemical Plant and Stardust Speedway Screens

No longer are blurry scans the only way to see Sonic Generations Metal Sonic and Chemical Plant zone. SEGA of America has just updated their Flickr account and added a load of screens including new CG renders of Modern and Classic Tails as well as new shots of Chemical Plant and the Metal Sonic race taking place in Stardust Speedway. Oh, and they’ve also added the 3DS package art, though it isn’t very exciting. To see all the images, head on over to SEGA’s Sonic Generations Flickr page.

I don't get it either fluff. Visually the game looks good to me and probably better when actually playing

Thanks for not posting too much of the scans here Barry. Like I said, I do not want to spoil some of the game because much of the content means a lot to me and I want to see it for the first time when i actually play Generations. It is going to be so hard to not see a lot of this stuff when I am so well in the know about SEGA news in general.

I kind of hate modern Tails, so I am really happy that classic Tails is in at all. I would like a bit more detail on his tails (the colors are just a flat texture and do not break from the model, which is lazy), but really the only thing that bugs me is his color, and that is not really that bad at all. At least it is not glossy like they were doing for so long.

The CG models for every character released so far are much worse than the actual in-game models, so I would not worry as much until we see them.

    Bring on classic Robotnik!!

Wonder if they're going to use the big fat headed one from mean bean machine or the use the one from sonic 1 (Ex: the picture of him in sonic classic collection).

It's gonna be the Sonic 1 Eggman. You can spot him in the end of classic act signpost and in the 3DS boss battle screens.
