Thanksgiving may be three weeks away, but folks are already at work preparing for the famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. A cool video surfaced showing the kick-off of the balloon handlers practicing. There are lots of shout outs to Sonic’s 20th anniversary, as well as a fun little “let’s hear it for Sonic!” at the end. This sort of stuff gives me that warm fuzzy feeling last felt in 1993 when Sonic appeared in the parade. Though let’s hope the hedgehog doesn’t pop like he did back then.

Fun fact: Sonic is a float in the parade in the 1996 Christmas movie “Jingle all the Way”
a great year for sonic
I’m going to watch the parade just for this!
Why not post the video directly on the article?
While Fox NY has the option to embed, the video was not appearing. After about three different attempts, I just posted the photo and linked you lovely readers to the article/video. 🙂
hey barry the nomad do you own a nomad XD i know that this is a weird question but i am just asking
@teirusu: I do! In fact, thats why I gave myself this silly online name. The Nomad was my second favorite SEGA thing in the ’90’s (first was the Genesis). I have a blog dedicated to it, though I’ve long since ran out of things to say about the Nomad, lol.
