Shadow the Hedgehog hits ‘PS2 Classics’ in Japan

shadowpic1
Sony calls their digital PSN re-releases ‘PS2 classics’ and the latest addition is the not so classic Shadow the Hedgehog. This game is just one of those titles that we here like to forget exists. What’s next? Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 port for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One?

Not to mention the Playstation 2 version of Shadow the Hedgehog is the worst version of the game. It ran better on both Gamecube and Xbox. If you live in Japan you can pick this up for 1,200 yen (About $12.60 USD).

Personally, I enjoyed this game on Xbox. I would like to see silver get his own game.

How Sega could have fucked this game up so badly I don’t know, and find it hard to even begin to think how it came to be, it started to seem good in all the previews and everything, but what a disapointment when the final genuine article came.

Still it’s not the worse game ever, but for a Sonic (semi-spin off) game from the Sonic series, you would EXPECT MUCH BETTER than this…

Less said about Sonic 06, the better.

Thank God they’ve since improved since that horrendous escapade.

Let’s just forget Sonic 06 ever existed, it’s for the best…

It may be shit but the game sold around a million copies, which is why its being released under the Classics label. Just like a lot of the top to mid range sellers from Sega or anyone else that uses the Playstation classic budget label.
