Nintendo has just announced the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Membership plan, which will hike the price on their base online price but you get Nintendo 64 and SEGA Genesis titles. The new membership plan is set to launch in late October. No pricing yet.
The SEGA Genesis will launch with the following games:
– Castlevania: Bloodlines
– Contra Hard Corps
– Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine
– Ecco the Dolphin
– Golden Axe
– Gunstar Heroes
– MUSHA
– Phantasy Star IV
– Ristar
– Shining Force
– Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master
– Sonic the Hedgehog 2
– Streets of Rage 2
– Strider
Nintendo also announced a SEGA Genesis 3-button controller that you can use on the Nintendo Switch for the overpriced $49.99. Sorry Nintendo, we play on the 6-button pad in this house!

Bit pointless if you have the new Sega Mega Drive mini, as all these games are already on it and you can add 100s more with ProjectLunar.
The picture even looks like it was just screen shot from the Mega Drive (or Genesis mini) and used by Nintendo for their own Switch eshop..
Though the Nintendo buffs will probably lap up the N64 stuff again as usual.
Unless there’s online multiplayer mode for those games. But not sure about that, still unconfirmed.
