With a total of 325.5 points, SEGA surged from 9th place in 2023 to claim the top spot in 2024. This victory marks another milestone in Sega’s history, as it previously won the award in 2020, thanks to hits like Persona 5 Royal and Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Capcom, the 2023 winner, came close to repeating its success with 323 points, while Microsoft also made significant strides, climbing to 9th place with 301 points. Sega’s 2024 triumph underscores its consistent ability to produce critically acclaimed games and reaffirms its legacy as one of the industry’s most respected publishers.

Cant really enjoy smt and persona for personal and religious reasons, which is unfortunate considering how well done those games seem to be. Thank God for like a dragon and sonic the frickin hedgehog! When it comes to games not made by Nintendo, Sega seems to be delivering the goods! I’m also hoping with their new initiative to resurrect classic franchises well get the triumphant return of games like after burner, house of the dead, outrun,and possibly the re-release or aaa remake of sonic adventure 1,2,and heroes just to name few. Or better yet …. All of the above!
Oh and before I turn in for the night, Sega. if you are reading this, please for the love of mobius bring virtua fighter 1 to 5 vanilla to modern platforms you cowards! And bring back cosmo! Poor 2 tailed fox boy deserves her! lol 😆 anyways good night everyone and God bless!

SEGA’s 2024 lineup was a dream come true for RPG fans like me. Persona 3 Reload and Metaphor: ReFantazio were absolute gems, and seeing SEGA take risks with new IPs while honoring classics is why I keep coming back. Well-deserved win for Publisher of the Year!
