Following the reveal of Crazy Taxi: World Tour, a cool bit of news about the game was lost in the shuffle that I thought deserved its own news post. Crazy Taxi series creator Kenji Kanno has been revealed as helming the new game! Kanno joined Sega AM3 in 1993 and his works included Jurassic Park, Funky Head Boxers, Top Skater, and of course the Crazy Taxi series.
Kanno has dipped his toes back into the Crazy Taxi waters having been involved with the now delisted mobile game Crazy Taxi: City Rush. It’s great to see him back with a console title that is in effect Crazy Taxi 4. I’m so happy to hear this! with crazy taxi world tour, the switch 2 port of lego batman legacy of the dark knight,(fun fact: sega is publishing that game in japan!)and the ocarina of time remake, I’ve practically got a lot of great games to look forward too!
