Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Demo now available on Nintendo Switch Japanese E-Shop

SEGA has uploaded the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Demo on to the Nintendo Switch’s Japanese E-Shop today for everyone to try if you have an alternate account set to Japanese. The demo consist of five available Tokyo 2020 Events and two Tokyo 1964 events through Quick Match which can be played with up to 2 players.

Players can also try out Local Play to connect and play with friends who has the demo on their own Nintendo Switch consoles. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will be released on the Nintendo Switch on November 5th for Americas and November 8th for Europe.

Go beyond the limits of reality into the realm of imagination with Mario & Sonic in Dream Events – intense, fast-paced experiences with your favorite characters that add an all-new layer of party fun you won’t find anywhere else. In this trailer contains three Dream Events to choose from to play with (or against) family and friends such as Dream Shooting, Dream Karate, and Dream Racing.

SEGA shows off 2D events for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020

With Gamescom in full swing, we’ve been getting more media for the up and coming Mario & Sonic game and Nintendo showed off close to 30 minutes worth of gameplay on their stream showing rock climbing, archery and karate. But for the second half of the video we’re shown how the 2D events work where players can take control of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Eggman, Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser competing against each other in Long Jump and Diving, amongst other events. SEGA and Atlus Announce E3 2019 Line-Up and Show Floor Activities

E3 is right around the corner next week and SEGA/Atlus has revealed their E3 2019 line up and are ramping up for a packed show filled with unforgettable games and activities to enjoy during the trade show from June 11-13 at Booth #4800 in the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center. Here are the games that will be playable at the show floor.

As for activities, the SEGA/Atlus booth will feature a retro-themed corner with a GIANT, functioning SEGA Genesis controller as seen in SEGA FES, in door rock-climbing, free swag, and a dedicated Catherine: Full Body Experience! event.
