Fan makes naked Hatsune Miku figure, sells it for $6k

SEGA has published 3 games featuring the popular Vocaloid star Hatsune Miku. If you haven’t heard, she is not a real person, but her hardcore fans seem to think her character is and seem to have a weird obsession with her.

One fan thought he had all the Hatsune Miku he needed, then figured that he didn’t have a really detailed naked figurine of her. So what does he do? Make one himself. You think that is weird? He put it up for auction Yahoo! Auctions (Japanese service) and got $6,000 dollars for it.

SEGA, the people have spoken. Release a limited number of naked Hatsune Miku figures for $2,000 dollars each. Seems like a deal! Hit the jump to see the figures bottom half.
