figmaPLUS SEGA Consoles collection now available for pre-order – tiny accessories for your Figma action figures!

If you’re unfamiliar with Figma, Figma is a Japanese action figure line produced by Max Factory and distributed by Good Smile Company. Various anime, movies, video games and even the occasional celebrity have Figma figures, what what’s so cool about them is that they are all the same scale, are super articulated and can mix and match accessories. The figmaPLUS line focuses on accessories and playsets, and of interest to SEGA fans is the figmaPLUS SEGA Consoles collection, which is now available for pre-order!

Priced at $34.99 and set to ship January 2021, the figmaPLUS SEGA Consoles collection includes:

· Master System, Mega Drive (Genesis), Game Gear, Saturn and Dreamcast consoles
· One controller for each console
· Three hand part sets
· One of each of the following games: Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Sonic the Hedgehog, Puyo Puyo, Virtua Fighter, Space Channel 5
· Sticker sheet

Also, for those who pre-order through the Good Smile US site, orders will also include an additional Mega Drive controller and hand set for two-player action!

As seen in the photos, the Figma line already has Space Channel 5 and Virtua Fighter figures. Also available are Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima from the Yakuza series. The accessories (though not the hands) should also be to scale with the Union Creative Game Classics Jet Set Radio Beat action figure and the Nendoroid Sonic the Hedgehog figure. If you like what you see, head on over to Good Smile and pre-order a collection for yourself!

[This article was in no way paid for by Good Smile Company, I am just very enthusiastic about tiny SEGA consoles]

Very cool… I got the Sega console gashapon set that was available about 15 years ago, and these appear to be very similar, down to the same games for each console. The main differences I see are that the gashapon set came with the MD tower of power, while the Figma set has the Game Gear; and the gashapon controllers have cords (which are cool but pretty hard to wrangle).
