I'd love to support the dreamcast(SEGA) by purchasing new dreamcast games. I'm just not too fond to the shoot em ups genre. Mainly because there are too many of them on the DC.
Don't worry we have several side scrollers in development as well.
ALIVE AND KICKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING
So should I get this or Last Hope first?
Last Hope is probably cheaper to buy
"Game comes with a hefty price tag of $42 dollars for the regular edition and $60 for the limited edition."
Last Hope: Pink Bullets (not the orignal version) is newbie friendly. This game is currently targetted towards hardcore shooter fans if you don't fall in that demographic don't bother with it.
Last Hope: Pink Bullets is also ugly in contrast to this game, the backgrounds in this game really are quite nice, not that you'd have a chance to appreciate them.
For those who want something other than shooters
Rush Rush Rally Racing is a nice old school game for Dreamcast, and RSG sold out of the regular edition a little over a month after release. The Deluxe edition is still in stock and cheaper than Fast Striker.
Irides is a nice Lumines style puzzler for Dreamcast which is the cheapest of all the released games, available for 20$.
@cube "Don’t worry we have several side scrollers in development as well."
Wait a minute, are you implying that your part of the development team or am did I misinterpret that
I was speaking on behalf of Dreamcast-Scene, We know most of the developers and work on their promotions and previews, hence we say "we".
The Dreamcast community is one big happy family, almost all the devers our forum members as well.
I see what you mean.
So where can I find these side scrollers than?
