The newest Dev Diary for Alpha Protocol is easily the best yet, it seems as though the graphics have been much improved upon and it shows a lot of interesting gadgets and things you can pull off in game.
Alpha Protocol has been on and off my radar for ages a now but I can safely say this video is the one that has swayed me the most into the ‘WILL BUY’ group.
Another April Fools has come and gone, another day of ‘omg Dreamcast 2’ and lets not forget the classic ‘Shenmue 3 announced!’ topics filling up every videogame forum. Oh joy!
But amongst the endless drivel there are a few pretty good ‘pranks’ Join me as I list some of my favorites of 2010!
It has long been said that PC gaming is in decline, much too many PC gamers dismay! In steps Sega Europe’s John Clark to defend PC gaming and throw in a little boast about Sega’s share of the market while he’s at it!
According to Clark chart tracking of PC gaming is being recorded wrong due to a large number of digital distributed not being recorded. With digital distribution a small, but growing market. It apparently makes up quite a large portion of Sega’ PC sale revenue.

If you were one of those people that enjoyed Alien vs Predator but didn’t buy the rather expencive ‘Special Edition’ then it may just be worth picking up this ‘new’ DLC.
Featuring 4 new maps for different multiplayer modes, previously only available in the Special Editions, this downloadable content will challenge all three species for the fight of their existence.
I really cannot sing Mike Hayes praises enough, not only did he transform Sega Europe from one man with a screw driver into one of the best divisions of Sega, but now hes taken over the whole of Sega West and he is saying all of the right words in this latest interview with CVG!

A member of the AtariAge forum has ‘pimped his ride’ turning his plain white Toyota Celica into a replica of the Sega Rally Celica ST205 GT-Four.
“Every time you drive a car in a video game, you want it just a little. Age, make, model, condition — when you’re spanking something across a digital landscape, none of these things matter. And if you owned an ST205-chassis Celica and happened to be a game freak, you’d probably think about doing something like this.”

The game has already released in the US and it hits the stores in Europe this Friday, (Feb 26th) I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

If there is one thing about Sega that never fails to impress, it’s their arcade output, and this year is no different! Sega’s stage was easily the highlight of AOU 2010 and were going to show you why.
Luckily some kind fellow recorded Sega’s event at AOU and has kindly uploaded it to youtube for us all to see.

Apparently a man known as Paul Wendling (pictured above) who worked on the CGI/Real Time trailer for Platinum’s new game Vanquish has given some interesting insight into the game.
Including information on the game play and the functions of the suite.

Yet another trailer for the upcoming Alien vs Predator game! This time featuring the species death match mode where you will select either alien, predator or marine and join a team of the same species and duke it out with opposing species!
This mode was the bread and butter of the old AvP games if you ask me, great fun!
I’ve seen some very mixed reviews coming in for AvP, some love it and some hate it! I’ve played the demo and found it very fun… One of my close friends absolutely loves it. What is your opinion?
Also worth noting is that I saw a commercial for this game last night after the Brit Awards on ITV1.
Check out Napoleon: Total War – Community Chapter 2 to find out what is new in the next Total War game, Napoleon: Total War. Including a new multi player mode, general abilities, diplomacy skills and more.
The game is set to release at the end of February. If you are a Sega fan that has yet to try this series out, (I know there’s quite a few of you!) and you have the kind of PC that can run it. This is a good time to start, the depth and level of detail in the Total War series is a marvel!
Well there you go! A leaked off screen video of ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 4’. You can clearly see four levels, Splash Hill Zone, Lost Labyrinth Zone, Casino Street Zone, Mad Gear Zone not to mention a special stage. Each seem to have three acts and a boss battle.
Four Zones with Three levels each and one boss means twelve levels in total, four bosses and a special stage. Although, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a fifth final zone. At the right price I think that’s a good amount of content for a downloadable game.

As you may known NIS America have taken up the task of publishing Sega and Red Entertainments ‘Sakura Wars V: So long, my love’ in the West.
While Sega have passed up the chance to publish this game, It is still a Sega game at heart. So sit back and enjoy this five minute trailer!

Prepare for war! This is the ULTIMATE Multiplayer trailer for Aliens vs Predator! (According to its youtube title anyway.) I can’t argue, it does look pretty sexy.
The trailer boasts of 7 multiplayer modes including Infestation, Predator Hunt, Survivor, Domination, Death Match, Species Death Match and Mixed Species Death Match. Spliced togeather with some very gory scenes.
Finally it shows the release date, 19.2.2010. The game will be available on Xbox360, PS3 and PC.
It is a known fact that all Virtua Fighter fans have been harping on about Virtua Fighter 5R since it was announced! Unfortunately, very few of them have actually been able to play it! Because so far it has only seen an Arcade release in Japan.
But Virtua Fighter fan site VFDC are looking to change this!
