Toshihiro Nagoshi always said that the Black Panther PSP games was about aggression and being a man. He has decided to use the same idea for the sequel, Black Panther 2: Yakuza Asura Chapter. Who better to tell the men at home to play the new Black Panther than the most manliest man Nagoshi knows? That’s right, himself.
SEGA hasn’t announced if they will be releasing Sonic 4: Episode 2 for PC, but it seems that ESRB has already spilled the beans early. If you recall, SEGA also kept quiet about the PC version of Sonic Generations, even though there was a ton of proof.
But for those PC players who didn’t get to experience Sonic 4: Episode 1, you might not have to worry. Awhile back we posted that it turned up in the Steam registry. Pretty much means that SEGA has a port of that one in the works for the PC.
First off, let me apologize for not posting the last few days. I have been rather busy, which is unusual for me. But there has been a post I have wanted to make entering 2012 and haven’t gotten the chance. What do you want from this site in 2012? I know what we are trying to do. Everyone knows that I wasn’t too happy with the US/Europe box art for Binary Domain. But now we get to see the Japanese box art, which might not be amazing, but is better than the US/European artwork by a lot. Not only that, this one has the new ‘Team Yakuza’ logo on the box. Nice. That should move a few copies.
For all those Kinect owners thinking about picking up Rise of Nightmares, now you can try out the game for free. SEGA has finally released a demo for their horror Kinect title earlier today. Make sure you have 334.26 MB free on your harddrive to play the game.
The demo is Kinect only, so you will have to have the device to play the game.
Here is a the first commercial for the upcoming 3DS game Hatsune Miku and Future Stars Project. This is the first time Hatsune Miku has debuted a game on a handheld outside of the PSP.
Even though we all wanted to play Shenmue City or Shenmue World (whatever you want to call it), it seems we won’t get the chance. According to Ysnet, the official developer for Shenmue Gai (the Japanese name of the game) has said that the game will cease to exist. No more updates, no more support. The site has a thank you message to all the users that played it.
This is pretty bad news for the Shenmue franchise and for hopefuls that this would lead to Shenmue III.
[Edit] It seems that this was already discussed by Yu Suzuki in an interview. Basically they are closing the mobile version of the game, but they are going to launch a ‘smart phone’ version for devices like Android and iOS.[/Edit]

SEGA and Nintendo have put out a new five minute trailer for the upcoming Hatsune Miku and Future Stars Project Mirai. The game is set to hit Japan on March 8th and will cost ¥6,090 or ¥7,140 for the limited edition that comes with a Nendoroid Puchi figure.
SEGA has released a new teaser via the Hatsune Miku official blog, this trailer is teasing an upcoming game for 2012. Since the style looks like a refined version of the PSP titles, I assume this is going to be Project Diva‘s debut on Playstation Vita. What do you guys think?
SEGA has put up a ton of new screenshots showing off the newest build for Phantasy Star Online 2. The game entered its 2nd alpha stage, which means its still pretty damn early in development. If you want to see those screens, hit the jump.
Seems that Sonic fans get a another discount. This time coming from Microsoft’s 12 days of deals promotion. The 9th day of the sale will feature most XBLA Sonic games at a discount of 66%. Sorry no Sonic CD, but if you want that for free, enter our podcast contest.

If you have been waiting for the ‘best version’ of Sonic Generations to get cheap, guess what? You are in luck. For the price of $10.19 you can get the PC version of Sonic Generations via Steam. This sale will only be up for 24 or so hours (give or take). So if you want it, jump on that.
The PC version of Sonic Generations has the ability to run at 60fps, unlike the console version that is locked in at 30fps. Not to mention, you can run it in true 1080p. For $10.19, not bad.

That is correct, Steam right now has Renegade Ops on sale for $5.09, that is 66% off its regular $14.99 price point. If you have been waiting for awhile to pick this game up, this is the sale you want to pounce on. So I might have posted a rumor that turned out to not be so correct during the start of the week. It seems that the rumor was a complete fabrication and for this I’m sorry. I have been getting emails (some to my personal account, you angry people sure know how to use Google) as to why I posted this rumor and long letters as to why I shouldn’t post every rumor that comes along.
First of all, I would like to just say that we get a ton of rumors. Anywhere from Shenmue 3 coming to Wii U (obviously fake) to this. Some of the rumors we don’t pick up usually end up on other sites a month or so later, most of those turn out to be true. When this one came along I decided to take a risk and took the wrong type of risk, for that I’m sorry to our staff and readers. So why did I post it? It seemed true. Though, I ignored some rules I usually stick by: “Don’t post unless there is evidence that it is correct or you personally know the person.”
From now on I’ll treat rumors like a newborn baby, with informative respect and if I don’t like the way it looks; i’ll ignore it.
