Xbox Live Indie game inspired by Panzer Dragoon Orta

We all loved Panzer Dragoon Orta, which was one of the early releases on the Xbox. Problem is that the game didn’t sell to hot, doesn’t mean that it will stop Xbox Live Indie creators from paying homage to the title.

What is the game called? Leucistic Wyvern. You can get it for a dollar (80 MS points) in the indie store. The game comes with 9 stages, 6 of which are bonus stages.

Sonic 2 3D fan project getting demo next week

Sonic 2 3D fan project has released YouTube videos and we all assumed that we would never actually get to try it. There is a thing about Sonic fan projects, most of the time the users give up on them.

But it seems the guys behind Sonic 2 3D have bigger plans and are thinking of releasing a demo next week, according to a user from NeoGAF. The Demo will be for PC of course.

To help with the wait, have some screenshots.

Sonic fan does a 20 minute YouTube rant about Sonic 4 physics

Here is a 26 year old Sonic fan, AGwolf2097, who was so pissed off with the physics in Sonic 4, that he decided to go and make a 20 minute YouTube video rant. The video comes in a epic 2 part Saga. YouTube can’t contain it in one video.

I know our forum members aren’t too happy about the physics, there are issues, but I want to know what you guys think of this guy’s point of view? Agree or disagree?

Skies of Arcadia Dreamcast mod is amazing

Just like most women, this mod looks better in the dark. Why? Because it has pretty lights.

The mod is all done by hand, making me envious that I don’t have the artistic talent (or drive) to make something this awesome.

Mister Wilson’s Jet Set single

Terek (Ter-Rek) Wilson, known by his rap name Mister Wilson, is a New Jersey rapper/battle rapper. Above is a video of him having a rap battle with a rapper named Cypher.

Mr. Wilson is a huge SEGA fan, since the age of 3 and even bears a tattoo of Sonic on his left arm. He has released his first single, called Jet Set and it uses a sample of ‘Fly like a Butterfly’ from JSRF. The track here is the experimental version and is currently being remade with producer Calvin the Genius.

GOAT Store Publishing Launches New Website

It’s the 9th of September, and you know what that means: Dreamcast news! First out of the gate, some news from Dreamcast game publisher GOAT Store, with their new website design. Completely revamped, the website has been rebuilt to not only promote the games GOAT Store has already published – such as Irides, Cool Herders, and Feet of Fury – but also tell people how these games came to be in the first place. GOAT Store has also hinted at a new project, which will be revealed sometime this month.

Finally, GOAT Store is offering a special deal for anyone who signs up for their newsletter in the first 99 hours of the new website’s existence. No word on what that special deal is, but I guess we’ll just have to see.

You can visit the site here for more details, and sign up for the newsletter here.

Dreamcast still thinking at Gamescom 2010

Its already 2010 and the Dreamcast just won’t quit, thanks to the guys over at redspotgames. This is their booth at Gamescom, they have a Dreamcast set up with some of their published games on it to play, sitting next to it is a 360 and Wii.

Redspotgames is working on bringing titles to other platforms, but does not mean they will stop supporting the Dreamcast. They have plans and sadly it is too early to know what those plans are, can’t wait.

Dreamcast indie dev expanding, showing a game at GamesCom

Redspotgames, a publisher that has pushed out many Dreamcast titles well after SEGA has stopped supporting the console, will 1up SEGA once again and actually be at Gamescom this year. If you didn’t read, SEGA has said they will not attend the event. Redspotgames is said to be showing off Solar Struggle, a Xbox Live Indie game. But that is not all…

They are also set to announce a new game, which a lot of people think will be Nintendo related do to their presence so close to their booth. They already stated it will not be on Xbox Live Indie Game. If your going to the event, the new game will be playable and redspotgame’s booth will be located at Hall 8, booth A-012. They will also be selling Dreamcast games, shirts and the like at their booth.

*I know that this was posted almost a week late, but I was not here to post it, so enjoy and shut up*
