The design reminds me of the Condemned box art, but even better. It has a really dirty and creepy feel to it. I just hope the full retail release lives up to at least the awesomely designed box art.
The game is rumored to allow you to use your whole body to fight off the undead. Talk about burning calories!

Restring your racquets, Virtua Tennis 4 has a release date! SEGA has announced that Virtua Tennis 4 will be hitting the Wii, PS3 and 360 on May 10, 2011 in North America! Also, SEGA has released the cover art. Want to see the PS3 and Wii cover, as well as a press release?
Oh God, SEGA stop the brown war games! Check out the cover art for the Valkyria Chronicles 3 soundtrack, so mainstream! I’m being sarcastic, it looks great.

You heard us rave and rant about how SEGA is doing it right with their new Yakuza 4 box art design. Even SEGA of Europe are talking about how they disliked the Yakuza 3 cover, no idea why they simply didn’t just make another one, but I guess its just a cover and I will forgive.
Now you can have the background wallpaper on all your computers and even your consoles like the PS3 while you wait for the game. No worries, SEGA will be releasing other wallpapers throughout the months as we wait for the release of the game.
Above is the official box art for Valkyria Chronicles 3 in Japan. The game is set to release on January 27, 2011. No Western release dates have been announced.

Pretty damn good right? While Yakuza 1 and 2 had pretty good box art, Sega got a lot of flack for the rather cheap looking Yakuza 3 cover art.
However rejoice, Yakuza 4 has one a very striking and suitable box art, in fact I would go as far as to say it is the best Western cover art for the series so far.
Note the subliminal messages all over the cover promoting ‘sexy girls’ and sex in general, nice!
Looks like it won’t be a download title after all! SEGA released the cover art as well at the price, as mentioned in a quote from the SEGA Blogs.

This is the box art for Vanquish, according to Amazon. You can tell they have a heavy emphasis on bright colors. Not to mention, the cover shows off that sense of danger and speed, also could be a mech robot game. That is, if I judged the game by the cover alone.
Thoughts?
Here is the European box art for GunBlade NY and La Machineguns collection that is coming to Wii. The European box art uses in game assets, compared to the American one that has the two arcades displayed and a ton of bullets.

Here is the American box art for SEGA’s compilation of Gunblade NY/LA Machine Guns for the Nintendo Wii. I guess it gets the job done, even has bullets all over the cover, you know what you are in for.
The box art also says it will support Nintendo’s Wifi. I assume its for online leaderboards. That should be fun.
