SEGA cancels “Super Game” while continuing to commit to previously announced legacy sequels

After years of speculation and zero concrete reveals, SEGA has officially pulled the plug on its mysterious “Super Game” initiative. Originally announced in 2021, SEGA described the project as a major next-generation effort reportedly backed by a huge $882 million budget. At the time, many assumed “Super Game” referred to one massive AAA release. As the years went on, SEGA later clarified that the name actually represented several large-scale projects and long-term business plans rather than a single title.

Persona 4 Revival Announced at Xbox Games Showcase

At the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, ATLUS announced Persona 4 Revival, an upcoming reimagining of the classic RPG Persona 4™ that was first released in 2008. Persona 4 Revival is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox PC and will be available on day one with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, is part of Xbox Play Anywhere, and will be available to wishlist later today. The game is also coming to PlayStation 5 and Steam, and wishlisting on these platforms will be available at a later time.
