E3 is going a little more risqué this year with Atlus’s new title: Catherine Full Body. It seems that Vincent’s love triangle isn’t enough, so this new game introduces new elements, new story and cutscenes, and even a new female to woo. With a lot on his plate, Vincent is going back to his nightmares, only this time there are some new tricks up its’ sleeve. Atlus posted a brand new Player Survery to get feedback “to help us determine the next steps for some of our most popular series, including Persona, Catherine, Etrian Odyssey, and more.”
The questionnaire asks users what previous Atlus games would you wanna see more content for (possibly gearing up for future re-releases), what you want to see more of in the future, how you buy games (digital or physical) and a lot more including asking users if they buy Collector’s Edition versions of games. If you are a big fan of Atlus’ properities, you should definitely take the survey.
SEGA has this thing about updating previously released game’s news feeds to tease future PC ports. This time, SEGA updated the Bayonetta steam page with a post containing the above image. A sheep, which is an animal highly featured in Catherine.
The thing is, all we know about the tease is that SEGA posted the above photo. That is all, everyone is saying this could be a tease for Catherine Classic, not the Catherine Full Body re-release that is coming with a ton of new content. Why? Because ‘Catherine Classic‘ got rated for release in Australia. I think if SEGA was smart, they would have been working on a port of the new re-release Full Body and not release an outdated version. I mean, Atlus’ own porting policies basically say that they don’t like to do ports without it having extra content for the consumers. Plus Catherine Classic will be turning 8 years old later this year…
Atlus has unleashed a brand new, E3 2018 Catherine: Full Body trailer confirming that it will get a 2019 release windows for us in America and Europe. If you didn’t already know, Catherine: Full Body is a ‘re-imagined remake’ of the orginal that came out last generation. This game is set to add a brand new ‘girl’ to the story, giving you three girls to juggle oppose to two in the original.
Is it a nightmare or a dream come true? A new test of Vincent Brooks’ morality is about to take the stage in Catherine: Full Body! This new twist on the original Catherine, a mature romantic action-adventure puzzle game from the makers of the Persona series, will include a new love interest, “Rin,” with distinct storyline elements for the character, and additional puzzle content. Vincent’s love life has never been so complicated and dramatic!
SEGA and ATLUS have officially revealed what to expect at this year’s E3! Creative Assembly will be providing a first look at Total War: Three Kingdoms via gameplay presentations throughout the show. Playable on the show floor will be demos of Valkyria Chronicles 4, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Shining Resonance Refrain, and Team Sonic Racing featuring never-before-seen content.

We posted earlier today that Atlus revealed a Catherine remake, being titled Catherine: Full Body. One of the new features was a pink haired, “third Catherine”, who is actually named Rin. You can see her above. We got a few more details on her, according to Weekly Famitsu, she is a pianist at the bar Vicente frequents. She is honest and gentle. Sounds like my type of waifu.
The developer also discussed new features only in this remake including new endings, more animation and even online battles:
It was just the other day that a remake of Catherine was rumored to be around the corner. Surprise! Atlus has announced Catherine: Full Body for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. This is being developed by a newly created studio, Studio Zero which is lead by Persona 5 director Katsura Hashino.
