Why don’t you ever cover Sega West studio outputs in Sega News Bits.Creative Assembly is Sega as much as Sonic Team is.

I think you guys should cover Sega Western Studios and Atlus too.

Personaly I am waiting for Creative Assembly console team new Ip announcement.

Being SEGA News Bits, we cover SEGA stuff. Atlus, while owned by SEGA, is its own thing and TBH we do touch on them from time to time. But the focus is SEGA. As for Creative Assembly, I agree that we should feature them more, but since starting News Bits, we really have not had many interesting stories to discuss from them. Yet another Total War doesn’t spawn much discussion. Perhaps in 2018 they will have something more interesting for us to follow?

You don’t know where you got the word Index despite it being the name of the Anime of the Game you are talking about on the game?

A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun are the two Anime Series that the Virtual On crossover is based on. (just so you know in case you want to research this stuff)

What to expect from Sega in 2018: Most of their major releases not going stateside, another rush job of a 3D Sonic game with cut content in the form of DLC as Sega continues to be desperate for cash, and more meh mobile games, while many promises continue unfulfilled. In other words, Sega being Sega.

    • Barry says:

Most major releases are not coming west? Aside from Virtual On, which has yet to be announced, we’re getting several Japanese titles. No 3D Sonic game is releasing in 2018 (I know you’re bashing Forces, and I agree with some points, but you’re doing a bad job making your point).

    • I_Miss_Sega_of_Old says:

I’m not “bashing” Forces, I’m simply stating it was rushed, and the limited time DLC comes off as a cash grab, though admittedly not as bad as making Chaos, THE MOST IMPORTANT FORCE IN WARHAMMER, day 1 DLC for Total War Warhammer 1. It’s a cash grab that gives off the vibe that Sega is desperate for money it does not have to stay afloat.

    Sonic only as usual.

  6. herbir says:

    Sonic and some other arsegames

  7. Barry says:

I know the last two comments are trolling and shitposting but I should note that Sonic has no games announced for 2018, and the games we do run through are good looking titles. So nice try, but you two are idiots.

  8. Fernandeath says:

I hope the “all stars racing game” crazy prediction become true 🙂
Also Alien Isolation 2 would be a nice surprise

    • Barry says:

I worry that the Disney/FOX deal will throw a wrench in the works for SEGA having the license to make Alien games. Should Disney control the IP, they might go with another developer/publisher (EA? Ugh.).

  9. Stephen says:

New SEGA Arcade Game Out Run 3 will release in Late June 2018.
