SEGA of America have just released a new batch of screens from the upcoming Yakuza 5, detailing the game’s supporting cast. Featured characters include ambitious lieutenant for the Omi Alliance Masaru Watase, the mysterious Osaka Detective, the Mad Dog of the Shimano Family Goro Majima, sadistic inmate Hiroshi Kugihara, and Sosuke Komaki. SEGA had hoped to release the game in November, but some development bugs appeared to have pushed things back. Still, the latest press release holds firm to a 2015 release date. The game will be priced at $39.99 and will release digitally to the Playstation 3.

After the break, check out the new screens!

No one seems to be excited for this game maybe because its on the old system but I’m very excited for it I’ve had it ore ordered for what feels like forever but you know it’s just gonna be great this is our big sega release this year as far as I’m concerned

As a Yakuza fan I’m excited about it too but yeah it’s an old system and with no release date and almost no info on the game except brief tidbits focused on random side stuff. Hard to be excited, I mean I dunno, almost feels like the game’s not even coming out.

Glad they have delayed it to be honest, good to see Sega take its time to ensure high standards are met.
I’d rather they delayed it now (same with the new Sonic Boom) and have it well polished rather than to release it half baked filled with bugs and broken mechanics with sub standard programming.
