Catherine Full Body Review – A vintage full-bodied delight with slight sulfites (PlayStation 4)

It’s always pleasing to see a video game that thinks outside the box. Even if it isn’t a masterpiece, the time you had with it would usually stick with you for the rest of your life. That was the feeling I had when I played 2011’s Catherine for Xbox 360. While not perfect, it was impressed how it pulled me into its world. This year’s enhanced version, Catherine Full Body, brings the Stray Sheep bar and crew back with some new faces and features, with an emphasis on a “fuller package”.

Note: We received this game for free from SEGA of America for review purposes.

Not much has been revealed about how Terry will play or what the other content exactly is, but more information will be promised at a later date. Terry Bogard is currently slated for a November 2019 release date.

In addition, Nintendo has confirmed that there will be more DLC goodness in the future, with more fighters joining the ring beyond the initial 5. Maybe if we’re lucky, we’ll see more SEGA and SEGA affiliated goodness crop up in the future!

Yakuza: Like A Dragon’s story mode alone will be more than twice as long as previous games

The latest issue of the Weekly Famitsu magazine in Japan had a huge feature on the upcoming Yakuza: Like a Dragon (aka Yakuza 7: Wherebouts of Light and Darkness). There are a ton of great tidbits of new information regarding the upcoming game but one that stood out was the team saying that Yakuza: Like a Dragon‘s story mode will be ‘more than twice as long’. That really makes you question if its because of the new combat system, which is taking a turn based RPG approach or if its just because this game will have more content. I mean, Yakuza 5’s story was ridiculously long and if this is going to be more than double the length…. I’m in!

Check out the tidbits over at Gematsu!
